"We don't rely on blasters to kill Jedi. Just the unmatched speed of our agility, and the impregnable mentality of our minds."

"Slizer" was the nickname of a Clone Assassin who was an active participant of the Great Jedi Purge towards the end of the Clone Wars.

Early LifeEdit

Like all Clone Troopers of the Republic, Slizer was a clone of infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett and was born on the rainy world of Kamino. He was trained as a Clone Assassin, a specialized variant of Clone Troopers commissioned by Chancellor Palpatine for sole purpose of combating Jedi. Slizer's training led him to developing enhanced speed and agility as well as the mental strength to resist even the strongest of Jedi mind tricks; all of which were traits every Clone Assassin needed to possess.

Operation: KnightfallEdit

"This is what I was bred for..."

-Slizer, upon killing his first Jedi

Following the issue of Order 66, which brought about the need to activate the Clone Assassins, Slizer, along with a unit of his fellow brethen, was sent by Chancellor Palpatine to assist the 501st Legion and the Midnight Ops. in eliminating the Jedi who still resided within the Jedi Temple. This particular unit of clones proved to be a great asset to the Clone troopers as they were the only ones who could face a Jedi on equal level in terms of combat style.

Later, Slizer was among the group of four Clone Assassins ordered by Darth Vader to guard a beacon (which ordered all Jedi to return to the Temple). They engaged in combat with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi when he attempted to reverse the beacon's objective. However, despite their combat skills and greater numbers, the squad was unable to stop Kenobi. Slizer was the last of the group to be killed.

"You haven't seen anything as fast as I am!"

-Slizer to Obi-Wan Kenobi before he and his squad engaged the Jedi Master

Slizer met the end of his life when Kenobi finally dispatched the whole squad of Clone Assassins except for him. Despite knowing that he was overpowered (as Kenobi was able to utilize the Force), Slizer continued fighting, trading blows and parries with the Jedi Master, occasionally employing acrobatic stunts to dodge the Jedi's attacks. The fight lasted for several moments until Kenobi found a weak spot in Slizer's defense and exploited it, killing the Clone Assassin by stabbing him in the chest.

Slizer wore the Clone Assassin version of the Phase II Clone Trooper armor, which was designed to focus more on the freedom of movement at the cost of protection. The armor's forearm gauntlets housed two retractable viro-blades, with one on each arm.
